Turn your passion into a summer job

Students aged 15 to 30, planning to return to school in the fall are eligible for free services to help them find summer jobs in their community. Find a service centre near you:

A $2-per-hour-per-student hiring incentive is available for eligible Ontario employers to create summer job placements. Find out more.

If you are 15-18 years of age, finding the job search a challenge and live in a priority community, there are specific services for you.

Turn your passion into your own business

Do you want to start and run your own summer business? Summer Company provides hands-on business coaching, mentoring from local community business leaders and awards of up to $3,000.

Bring your passion to summer jobs with the Ontario government

Opportunities in ministries and agencies
Jobs are available in many areas, including recreation, culture, fish and wildlife, lab research, public education, travel and tourism.

The Ontario Stewardship Rangers and Ontario Rangers
If you're 17, you can work close to the environment through an eight-week summer job program in your own community, or at one of 13 remote camps.

Opportunities for Aboriginal Youths
If you're an Aboriginal youth between the ages of 15 and 24, you may qualify for eight weeks of work on an exciting environmental project.  Find out more.

If you're studying first-year or second-year law, check out the Summer Law program. You could be an integral part of an expert legal team. Positions are available in almost every area of law in locations throughout the province.
