The Employment Ontario Integrated Service Delivery Framework Discussion Paper
As you are aware the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU) is moving forward with the transformation of Employment Ontario, with changes to be implemented prior to April 2009. A major component of this transformation is the development of a client-centred service delivery framework, which will establish the foundation for service integration, service improvements and service standards.
In order to finalize a service delivery framework by October 2008, MTCU engaged Deloitte Consulting. The Discussion Paper: Employment Ontario Integrated Service Delivery Framework was developed by Deloitte, in conjunction with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). The Discussion Paper presented options for integrated service delivery within the Employment Ontario employment and training network.
In February we gathered feedback from a broad cross-section of ministry staff, Employment Ontario funded agencies, partner ministries and other stakeholders on the options in the Discussion Paper.
Over 25 per cent of all Employment Ontario funded agencies participated in English and French feedback sessions held in 15 communities across the province. All Employment Ontario programs were represented. Additionally, through an online tool that was available through this website, 153 responses on the Discussion Paper were collected. Thank you to those who participated and provided feedback on the Discussion Paper.
The feedback was provided to Deloitte, and their analysis of the feedback has been shared with the ministry and is attached for your review. The feedback received from service providers and partners has been invaluable in guiding our development of the service delivery framework.
We will continue to provide you with updates about our progress and provide you with more details about the framework and implementation approach over the summer months.
