Apprenticeship Enhancement Fund Program Call For Proposals Application Guide 2015-16


The Apprenticeship Enhancement Fund Program Call for Proposals Application Guide and associated templates are posted below for your consideration.

On April 9, 2015 the Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario, and the Honourable Reza Moridi, Minister of Training Colleges and Universities announced additional funding of $23 million over two years to the Apprenticeship Enhancement Fund Program. The funding investment gives ministry-approved apprenticeship Training Delivery Agents the opportunity to acquire state-of-the-art equipment and update facilities.

This new investment will be for signature projects that pioneer new models of in-school training, have demonstrated industry support and meet labour market demand.

Priority will be given to projects that support the following government priorities:
a. Investment in training for trades with a demonstrated high labour market demand;
b. Building the workforce needed for the government’s major transit and infrastructure projects; and
c. Improving access to trades and quality training for underrepresented groups, including Aboriginal apprentices. 

Funding will be available to both colleges and non-college Training Delivery Agents.

Interested Training Delivery Agents are invited to submit proposals to the region where the Applicant (or the primary Applicant, if there are partners) is located. Please submit to only ONE email address as listed below:

Each Applicant may submit a maximum of three (3) Applications.
