Apprenticeship Enhancement Fund (AEF)

AEF provides funding to Ontario colleges delivering apprenticeship training programs to upgrade equipment and facilities, and to support increased apprenticeship placements.

Apprenticeship Innovation Fund (AIF)

The Apprenticeship Innovation Fund supports the development of new training programs, and innovative, flexible delivery methods in response to industry and apprentice needs. It also supports the development of prior learning assessment tools to support outcomes-based training, and ensures that apprenticeship programs are outcomes-based and adapted to new technologies.

Labour Market Partnerships (LMP)

Cost-shared program provides funds for facilities and/or equipment to Ontario Training Centres (including union training centres, employer training centres, and union-employer partnered training centres) to meet the skills training and apprenticeship needs of the economy.

Ontario Skills Training Enhancement Program (OSTEP)

The Ontario Skills Training Enhancement Program (OSTEP) replaces and expands upon the Skills Training Infrastructure Program (STIP) to support union, employer and union-employer training centres in Ontario to update, expand or purchase new facilities and to update, replace, or purchase new training equipment to increase skills training capacity and training to industry standards.
