Ontario Skills Training Enhancement Program (OSTEP), 2008-09

The Ministry released the call for proposals for the Ontario Skills Enhancement Program (OSTEP) on July 25, 2008. OSTEP was created to help Training Centres to update or expand existing facilities and refurbish or purchase new equipment to train to industry standards. Interested proponents are invited to submit proposals for funding. Proposals are due to the Ministry on September 5, 2008 @ 17:00 hours

Questions regarding the OSTEP call for proposals were submitted to OSTEP@ontario.ca by July 29, 2008 and asked by attendees at the July 31, 2008 Technical Briefing. Attendees at the Technical Briefing were union representatives, directors of training, project managers and training coordinators.

Questions have been asked about eligibility, definition of terms, financial and funding contributions, infrastructure and equipment eligible costs, proposal requirements, clarification on definitions and evaluation criteria.
