Post-Graduation Work Permit Program

Students who’ve graduated from a participating Canadian postsecondary institution may have the opportunity to gain valuable Canadian work experience by obtaining a post-Graduate Work Permit.

The length of a post-graduate work permit generally mirrors the length of the holder’s studies, however, in certain cases the work permit may be valid for longer than the duration of studies.

Visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for more information.

Provincial Nominee Program

International Students may have the opportunity to live and work permanently in Ontario through Opportunities Ontario. The program is available to soon-to-be and recent graduates from publicly funded colleges or universities who have a permanent full-time job offer from an Ontario employer. Graduates from Masters or PhD programs do not require a job offer to receive a nomination for permanent residency.
