About the award

TThe award recognizes outstanding achievement, innovative practices and excellence in literacy. Thirteen winners are chosen each year, one for each province and territory.

The 2012 provincial and territorial award recipients will be announced during the Council's meeting in Halifax from July 25-27, 2012. For more information, please visit The Council of the Federation Literacy Award.
