Local Boards are independent not-for-profit corporations sponsored by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. These organizations, led by Business and Labour at the local level, include representation from other constituencies that have an important stake in the vitality of their local labour market, namely: Educators, Trainers, Women, Francophones, Persons with Disabilities, Visible Minorities, Youth, Aboriginals and other relevant sectors of local economies.
