Key Performance Indicators for Private Career Colleges

Disclosure of Personal Information

Private career colleges are required by law to disclose certain personal information about their students and graduates to the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges. This information  allows the Superintendent to calculate and publish key performance indicators (KPIs). The elements of personal information that must be reported are listed in subsection 36.1 of Ontario Regulation 415/06, made under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

The Superintendent uses this personal information solely for the purpose of developing KPIs for vocational programs in Ontario. KPIs are published in an aggregate form so that individuals cannot be identified. This information allows current and prospective students to make more informed choices about their education.
