French-language policy framework for postsecondary education and training
More Options for Francophone Learners
Ontario has put in place a French-language policy framework for postsecondary education and training. The goal is to help provide Ontarians with more opportunities to study and train in French.
New guidelines will strengthen the ability of a wide range of partners to promote the development of the French-language and culture in all aspects of the learning experience. System-wide initiatives will focus on developing new French-language programs and courses, increasing student recruitment and retention, and encouraging more partnerships between postsecondary institutions.
