These particulars are posted following the decision of the Licence Appeal Tribunal on June 24, 2015 to direct the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges to carry out the proposal to revoke the registration of Key2Careers College of Business and Technology Inc.

Reasons for Proposal to Refuse to Renew Registration

On September 18, 2014, the Superintendent proposed to refuse to renew the School’s registration for the following reasons:

  • The School has not had any students enrolled in any vocational program for more than two successive periods (s. 18(2)(d));
  • The Superintendent is no longer satisfied that the School can be financially responsible in the operation of a private career college in regard to its current financial position (s. 18(2)(a) read with s. 14(1)(d)).

Licence Appeal Tribunal Hearing and Decision

On March 30, 2015, the matter was heard before the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

On June 24, 2015, the Licence Appeal Tribunal issued its decision directing the Superintendent to carry out the proposal to refuse to renew the registration of Key2 Careers College of Business and Technology Inc. On June 26, 2015, the Superintendent carried out the proposal to refuse to renew the registration.
