These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Restraining Order against an unregistered private career college by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges pursuant to s. 46 (1) of the Act.

Contraventions

The Superintendent has ordered Canadian Flyers International Inc. to stop contravening the following sections of the Private Career College Act, 2005:

  1. s. 7(1) Prohibition against operating a private career college
    and
  2. s. 8 (1) Prohibition against offering or providing vocational programs
    and
  3. s.11(2) Restrictions on advertising and soliciting

Required Actions

Island Air Flight School was required by the Superintendent to provide written confirmation signed by a person with authority to bind the corporation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they:

  1. have ceased operating a private career college
    and
  2. have ceased all offering or providing of vocational programs
    and
  3. have ceased all advertising of vocational programs
